The Business of Sport, Jamaica seeks to create an economic framework from which stakeholders are tuned into the elements which are key towards sustaining a viable industry. Jamaica’s record on the field of play is well established and has become its own Brand, what The Business of Sport therefore seeks to do is to ensure that the major players are able to balance the equation by focusing on Education, Marketing, Legal, Branding, Psychology, Financial, Media & Technology and Events as some of the critical success factors. This can only be achieved by collaboration with key partners, those of whom who have been tried, tested and proven, while seeking to leverage business networking opportunities for all those involved.
The conference and workshop series are part of the tools used, while expertise of the team has been used in the Jamaican Diaspora in the USA, Canada and the UK and is reaching out to Asia, Australia and other parts of Europe. The conference is being held for the second time in May and the workshops held in November and January are expected to be a part of the time table.
